								MEMBERSHIP   ABOUT IAAP The International Association of Administrative Professionals® (IAAP) represents members from many backgrounds and in many fields.  Secretaries, executive assistants, administrative assistants, information specialists and office managers are just a few types of professionals that make up our association with over 600+ chapters and 40,000 members and affiliates worldwide.  IAAP provides up-to-date research on office trends, cutting-edge publications, outstanding seminars and conferences, and top-notch resources to help administrative professionals enhance their skills and become more effective contributors to their employers.   ABOUT CHAPTER The Clearwater Chapter was chartered in 1953 and currently has members from Clearwater, Largo, Palm Harbor and New Port Richey.  The Clearwater Chapter is part of the Florida Division that includes the state of Florida and the Bahamas. There are currently 27 chapters with over 800 members in the Division.  The officers of the Chapter constitute the Board of Directors.  Committees offer the opportunity for members to actively participate in areas that suit their special interests. The Chapter awards scholarships to give financial assistance to college level students preparing for administrative careers.  Our Chapter newsletter the “Clearwater Sparkler” keeps you up-to-date on the Chapter’s activities, members, fundraising, and tips on administrative concepts.
